Mike Kadin

Above all, I am a teacher. I've taught Physics, Math, Technology, and Computer Science at both the middle and high school levels. In my work at Prospect Hill Academy, I gained valuable experience teaching full time in the classroom. I focused on engaging interactive lessons and project-based learning experiences, while I strove to find ways to further integrate interactive/web technologies into my instruction.

Over time, I've built a myriad of technological and programming skills on a number of platforms. Currently, most of my time is spent developing in web sites and web applications using the Drupal content management framework. I'm currently working at EdTech Leaders Online, an organization that helps schools and educational institutions to build capacity through online professional development.

I also founded a small side consultancy, Merlin Education LLC, which aims to help schools improve school culture and achievement through the power of the web. Merlin Education's primary product is Merlin, a web-based discipline tracking and improvement system.
